The Pop-up Project
The Pop-up Project is a non-profit dance and production company.
We believe dance is a powerful and inclusive form of self expression that leads to authentic human connection.
Our mission is to build a thriving community through dance education, artist development, and collective effervescence - transforming the Chattanooga region into a place where people experience more joy, belonging and wonder.

Our vision is to reach 1 million people through dance by 2030.
Our programs include site-specific performances and films that are inspired by real stories within our community. We shine a light on the amazing visual and performing artists in Chattanooga, and we spark joy through moving together with our outreach program providing 500+ kids with dance classes every week.
